Long Arm Services

For all long arm services, I provide a free 15 minute consultation to discuss the individual quilting details desired by the customer to finish the quilt.  My goal is to meet or exceed your expectations.  Batting can be provided, or you may bring your own pre-purchased quality batting materials ~ wool, silk, bamboo, cotton or blends.

Please feel free to call ahead of your consultation to discuss the batting and threads I recommend to create beautiful designs with even stitches that blend in or stand out, depending on your finished product vision.

Edge to edge quilting

Edge to Edge (E2E)

Computer aided:  2¢ to 3.5¢/sq in.  I offer a wide range of designs, with pricing that varies depending on the stitch density of the design you choose.  The E2E design will run from one edge of your quilt to the other consisting of almost any design you can think of. Designs programmed through the Quilt Path computer will result in highly precise, even designs.

E2E with Separate Border Designs

2.5¢ to 4¢/sq in.  Digitally guided precision in the body of the quilt with a separate design chosen for border(s).  (1 – 3 borders, 8″ max. each)

Simple Custom

Priced by the hour based on complexity.  Consists of a separate design in blocks with a different design in borders or sashing.  (1 – 3 borders, 8″ max. each)

Custom Blocks With Detail

Priced by the hour based on complexity.  This will involve more detail work, stitch in the ditch around details and work requiring several stops and starts in each block.  Custom quilting creates a treasured heirloom of your special quilts.

Custom Heirloom Design

Individually priced by consultation based on time involved, as intricacy combined with the size of the quilt is what creates an overall design aesthetic that makes your heirloom piece unique.  These designs will have highly detailed work involving intricate background fill, ruler work, delicate feathers, wreaths, or trapunto work that require the design to be hand marked prior to quilting. Heirloom quilting is an intricate, artistic, heavy quilting design that is very labour intensive.  As the name suggests, the outcome will be a treasure to keep, gift, and pass on to future generations.
